Designer: Gastone Rinaldi Was Born in Padua in 1920. Initially He Worked for the RIMA Company in Padua, Founded by His Father Mario Rinaldi in 1916. In His Work as a Designer He Was Able to Come Into Contact With Many of the Major Italian Designers, Including Giò Ponti, Carlo Mollino, Alberto Rosselli, Franco Campo and Carlo Graffi, Michele De Lucchi and Marco Zanuso Are Mentioned. In 1954 He Won the Compasso D'oro Award With the Du30 Chair Produced by RIMA. In 1974 He Founded the Thema Company in Limena. In 1981 His Dafne Chair Produced in 1979 Received a Compasso D'oro Award, as Did the Aurora in 1981 . The Saturno Sofait Is Part of the Prestigious Collection of the Moma Museum of Modern Art in New York. Rinaldi Also Had an Intense Sporting Activity ... Gastone Rinaldi Died in Padua in 2006. Source
