Modern Cabled Coffee Table by Peter Harrison with Metal and Black Wood
About the Item
This is a dyed black version of my Argon coffee table that is immediately available and ready to ship. The first photo is the actual table and finish. The follow-up photos are details of argon in a Natural Sapele.
The Argon coffee table twists stainless steel cables in a Mobius-like wave. This highly optical effect varies as one circumnavigates the piece. The cables flex to the touch yet naturally return to their position. The frame is constructed with two X's of Mahogany and 4 solid Aluminum legs with a brushed finish. The top is 1/2" thick tempered glass 36" square.
This table is currently available and ready to ship. Please check my other listings for an Argon made to order that can be created in a number of different woods.
Argon is designed and meticulously crafted by Peter Harrison in his Upstate New York studio. This is being sold studio direct.

Peter Harrison has been an independent maker for over 20 years. His unique furniture forms are constructed with unconventional joinery and exposed fasteners. He has spent his career pushing the boundaries of furniture design. Harrison meticulously creates handmade modern furniture out of wood metal and concrete.
