Louie George Michael is my furniture collection
as cheerful as a Wham song. Its playful designs contrast with the elegance of the cold maple. I investigate the coexistence of people and space by blurring the boundaries between architecture and design. I try to make furniture fun by playing with scale and function. I invent and create everything myself by using the inherent qualities of the material as the source of inspiration of my concepts. For instance, the toughness of the maple allows me to bend it, or the imperfection of the burl becomes a cavity I can make glow in the dark.
