Still Waters Ancient Cracked Chestnut Handcrafted Modern Large Dining Table
About the Item
For this project, it was really hard to get thick, dry chestnut slabs. But what we found we really liked. Completely dry, with its own character and texture with many cracks and holes, over 150 years old. This tree has seen several generations of people, possibly seen the Second World War. All the same, 150 years is not so little, is it?
We completely cleaned the old slabs, leveled them, sanded them and filled them with blue resin, adding a little silver. Finished it with a hard varnish for durability and resistance to liquid and scratches and watered for several hours to make it shine perfectly.
Each table is made of selected slabs of different woods with character. We spend a lot of time selecting 100% of your slabs that will suit your heart and interior. The Italian resin that is used for pouring is the best in the world. It does not turn yellow, does not become cloudy from time to time and lasts forever. All finishes are also from the best Italian brands. All of them are as hard as possible to give the table moisture resistance, resistance to mechanical damage and scratches. Also, all tables use the technology of pouring wood from above and below with a layer of epoxy resin, which makes the product ever-living and also completely waterproof. Also tables are completed with a protective film which will keep your table virgin during the first years of use.
