Lovely ebonized Art Nouveau Pedestal or Column from the period in Austria around 1900. A fantastic straight shaped pedestal, hand carved out of solid beech wood with beautiful ebonized, black shellac polished surface. Standing solid on a square base plate, this timeless designed column just looks great with its minimal carved straight pillar and an also square rectangular top plate which is the perfect spot for displaying a lovely cachepot, valuable bust, vase, or sculpture.
