French 19th Century Empire St. Faux Painted Wood, Giltwood and Marble Side Table

About the Item

An impressive French 19th century Empire st. faux painted wood, giltwood and Gris Turquin marble side/center table. The circular table is raised by a most decorative triangular base with concave sides, rounded corners, and a beautiful recessed wraparound giltwood band. At the center are three superb scrolled tapered legs with handsome giltwood paw feet amidst fine foliate designs with additional recessed giltwood designs centering wonderfully executed faux wood patterns. Above is the beautiful original bleu Turquin marble top.
