Jordi Alcaraz was born in Spain in 1963. Alcaraz’s discourse was born in the Classic tradition of painting and sculpture to arrive in a reflection about the volume, language and time through the use of materials like glass, mirrors, reflected lights, plexiglass and books. Raising always conceptual questions about painting and sculpture, Jordi’s work discusses the basic materials and gestures of the trade of being an artist. The techniques, spaces, and inspiration.
