"Artichokes" Triptych by Jill Hackney American
About the Item
Circa 2008, Acrylic on wood panel by Jill Hackney (b1968), Baton Rouge, LA. Titled Artichokes and part of her Still Life Paintings collection, this triptych or grouping of 3 paintings, forms one work of art. From the artist ...seeing everything as a mirror, "I paint using vertical lines creating layers of interwoven color, depicting light’s subtlety." Her work is impressionistic, with a moody cheerfulness that captures the flavor of the "social and cultural narrative" which surrounds her. The play of light is unexpected and shyly asks for more attention. Each panel is 36 inches square so the entire work is about 110 inches across. Signed and titled en verso, the triptych has (3) panels mounted with wooden supports. Excellent condition.
Remark: "Art is personal. I only buy what I love."
Size: Height: 36 inches, Width: 36 inches (each panel)
Note: Customer must pay for crating of these three pieces.
