Original vintage travel poster for USA Fly BOAC British Overseas Airways Corporation featuring a fun and colourful mid-century design by the notable British graphic designer Abram Games (Abraham Gamse; 1914-1996) depicting a smiling man in a cowboy style hat with the BOAC speedbird logo on both sides and a city skyscraper in the centre and his a neck scarf in the red white and blue stars and stripes of the American flag against a pink and red background with the bold stylised lettering above. (The British Overseas Airways Corporation / BOAC was the British state airline created in 1940-1946 as the result of a merger, introducing the world's first passenger jets to its service in 1952 and merging again in 1971-1974 to create British Airways / BA.) Very good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, backed on linen.
