Charming 18th century French diorama with hand colored copper plate engraving. In original shadowbox with gold leaf ripple frame. Though titled on the reverse "Vue du College de Ste Marie et de Hotel de Ville d'Oxford," View of the College of St Mary, Oxford. With decoupage flowers in the foreground, two cutouts of a noble couple in the mid ground and the engraving of the College in the background.
