About the Item
Peridot Cage ring set with loose peridot gemstones and topped with an Aquamarine.
Filled with 17.73 carats of Peridot and topped with a 2.5carat Santa Maria Aquamarine, known for its deep, rich color. Stones are loose inside so they catch the light in an amazing way when the ring is worn. Made entirely by hand. The ring is finished with a double gold band shank that provides perfect balance to this piece. Made in collaboration with the master goldsmiths of The Gem Palace in Jaipur, India.
Known as the stone of compassion, peridot is believed to bring good health, restful sleep and peace to relationships by balancing emotions and mind.
Aquamarine is often associated with serenity, tranquility, and universal harmony.

Ico & the Bird Fine Jewelry
Ico & the Bird Fine Jewelry was founded by designer Juliana Domenico (’Ico’) Carr and inspired by her world travels, searching for the most beautiful and unique gemstones to incorporate into her designs. Gemstones have always been a passion for the designer. She spent the first five years of her life in Brazil, a country known for some of the worlds’ most striking and rare stones, and her earliest memories were of playing with giant, loose aquamarines in her mother’s jewelry box and arranging them into designs. Working primarily in 22k matte gold and hand-picked gemstones, Juliana works with master craftsmen from around the world employing ancient gold smithing techniques in the creation of singular pieces that will be treasured for generations. Juliana holds an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from The George Washington University. She also holds a Graduate Gemology (GG) degree from The Gemological Institute of America and Graduate Fine Arts from UCLA.
