1930's White Silk-Satin Hourglass Bias-Cut Deco Evening Gown

Buyer Protection Guaranteed

An ethereal crisp-white shimmer silk-satin gown from the "Old Hollywood" era of glamour. The bodice is a draped bias-cut with unique textured cut-out puff sleeves. I love the peek-a-boo backside! The waist is nipped with a matching stylized art-deco rhinestone belt. The lower skirt is added in pointed inset seamed pieces typical of the time period and insanely hard to do on bias-cut fabric. This figure flattering garment accentuates the bust, skims the hip and flares out below the knee in a fishtail design. It is impeccably seamed and on the level of modern day couture. Here is a dress with attitude and elegant.

Bust:33-34 inches
Waist:26 inches
Hips:36 inches
Total Length:60 inches

This antique evening dress is in excellent wearable condition with no rips, stains or holes. After close inspection, I found some tiny missing rhinestones on the deco-belt. This gown is over 80 years old and is truly spectacular.
