Mr Blackwell Rare Mid Century Vintage Painted Black Straw Wide Brim Hat
About the Item
This mid century vintage black painted straw hat was designed by Mr. Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell made hats for his socialite female friends and celebrities and this is the only hat designed by him that I've ever seen. The hat has a scarf and buckle and a nice, wide 5" brim. This hat measures 21" circumference and is 4" high. There is no "give" to the straw so the size measurement is fixed. The lining is reminiscent of older straw hats and the label is black with silver writing.
