1960s Elaborate Beaded Chiffon Gown
About the Item
Shoulders: 17” from seam to seam
Bust: 19” from side seam to side seam
Waist: 18” from side seam to side seam
Hips: 22” from side seam to side seam
Bodice: 16.5” from the top of the back of the neck to waist seam
Skirt: 41” from waist seam to bottom hem
Sleeves: 24” from shoulder seam to longest point
The dress is fully lined and closes with a back painted metal zipper. It is tagged George Allette and has a size tag that says it is a 14 - please go by the posted measurements. Each sleeve has a hidden zipper on the cuff so it fits snugly around the wrist. Where the zipper is set into the chiffon at the back, a series of fabric covered snaps hold the outer layer of chiffon in pace so its hidden. Zipper is hand set. A quality piece to be sure! It should be dry cleaned when cleaned again in the future.
