1960s Hand Embroidered Crewel Work Coat

A truly magnificent coat made up of shiny, subtle skins, hand sewn together into diagonal designs with a wide band of fur wrapped around then hemline. It is so typically 1920s in styling with a huge shawl collar and wrap style body. It closes either with the collar looped up to keep you warm or with the collar laid out like a shawl and fastening with a large button and loop below the hipline. It is fully lined, has the original silk underarm shields and the fur is like new with no dryness, wear or bald spots.
