About the Item
Preowned, vintage Bonnie Cashin for Sills suede patchwork poncho or cape, likely made in the 70s.
Made from shades of dusty rose, butterscotch and olive-hued caramel suede leather patchwork, it fastens with pearlized snaps at the collar and chest. Bonnie designed her pieces to be layered (a term she coined during her amazing career), so one can wear as-is, over a turtleneck, belted or with your favorite ensemble (images 3 & 4 show this poncho along with our Cashin pink suede leather crop top, belt & maxi skirt, not included with this sale, but being sold separately).
Made in the USA. No size tag, fits like a modern S/M. Approximate measurements, taken flat: 37in across the top shoulders x 25in natural shoulder to hem.
Preowned/vintage (40 years old) with signs of age, use and prior wear: spots/color variation/rubs to outside suede, some water spots to interior & one small tear that's been unprofessionally repaired (see last image, where we show both sides of the repair), hard to see when wearing but evident if inspecting closely.
