Universal Studios Paper Dress, 1968
About the Item
This colorful dress shows the stars of the 1968 Universal Studios films in a style that resembles the famous Andy Warhol portraits. It makes a dramatic statement when framed as a piece of art. Some of the stars represented include Elizabeth Taylor , Richard Burton, Mary Tyler Moore, Paul Newman, Shirley MacLaine, Julie Andrews and Vanessa Redgrave.
On the other side they include Albert Finney, Marlon Brando, Henry Fonda, Charleton Heston, Kirk Douglas and Doris Day among others.
The dress is iconic for the depiction of the year in films and for capturing a popular fad of the times, paper dresses. It is in excellent condition and comes with the original hang tag.
