Upcycled Art Deco Black Widow Floral Dressing Gown by Studio VL. 1930's rayon print pink floral gown with striped floral patterning throughout. We have hand embroidered black widow spiders coming down each side from buds, each embroidered with red heart motifs on back. Central closure at front but open below. Snaps or hooks can easily be added below.
Included is a period pink velvet rose corsage with black ostrich plumes moving underneath to represent a night flower that the spiders are attracted to. Puffed short sleeves and high waist seam. Skirt flares in back. Small size 2-4, 1930's USA.
