Brreathtaking Zandra Rhodes black gothic evening gown dating back to the early 1990's. Zandra Rhodes was one of the British designers who put London at the forefront of the international fashion scene. Her designs are considered creative statements, dramatic but graceful, bold but feminine. This seductive garment is fashioned from sheer tulle and synthetic silk with touches of metallic gold brushstrokes. I love the bare shoulder 3/4-length sleeve plunge boned bodice. The casual elegance of the full skirt with layers and swags of tulle, crinoline and taffeta, trimmed in fancy cord with tasseled fringe is so fresh and strikingly modern. The pictures speak for themselves. Rhodes' exotic originality makes her work among the most copied in the fashion world today.
