Dating from the mid-1930s, with a figure hugging bias-cut; sheer silk chiffon of chartreuse, lemon, peach, orange, and brown over-sized floral print. Floating sleeves are created simply by the the draping of a large rectangle over each shoulder that then end in a four-point flutter. Hemline features six deep gores that balance the softness of the bodice. Front of bodice ends in two long tapers of silk that pass through sewn-on rhinestone rings giving the appearance of dress clips before cascading down the back. Self-belt with both snap and hook and eye closures at side. In extraordinary condition with some stress in silk 3 millimeters away from the rolled seam of the neckline over the shoulders - a result of hanging for years, so please store this off hanger. Draped chiffon over shoulders conceals these areas and, as such, you may choose to reinforce with stitching. Only label is the NRA union label (1933 - 35 only.)
