About

This gown is absolutely incredible and so rare. It really is one of the most phenomenal dresses I have ever had and has such a highly desirable label! The fabric is a heavy weight, luxurious silk satin in a deep, rich cream. Onto this is a fused velvet floral design, appliqued on with had done layers of individually cut of flowers hand applied through the design. These extra layers are predominantly around the neckline where they are actually affixed to fine wire so they hold the shape where they go above the edge of fabric. This stunning red floral design completely covers the dress, trailing down and around your curves on the front and back. The cut is pure Hollywood. A fitted bodice is suspended from the shoulders by two tiny silk straps. It is cut to follow every curve. It cinches in at the waist with hand draped panels of fabric sewn into place to give it curves and then curves over the hips, falling to the floor in a column of silk. The back is cut with a fishtail feel so suggests a train behind you. Everything about this gown is cut to emphasize your curves! The bodice is lightly boned and everything is done by hand. I love the little bow detail at the back. Excellent condition and a rare museum worthy piece.

Fully lined cream silky rayon . There is boning in the bodice. It closes with a back painted metal zipper with an inner waist stay. All hand work from top to bottom. Note that there is some small areas of color run that honestly once on just get lost in the overall affect. It is priced accordingly
