1960s Jean Varon Mini Metallic Baby Doll Dress
About the Item
The most beautiful 60s vintage mini from the English label Jean Varon which was designed by John Bates in the 60s and 70s. Bates was one of the pioneers of the miniskirt. This babydoll style mini dress is done in pink and silver lace with silver chord for the straps. Fully lined in acetate. Open at the back where the zipper is, I believe it is meant to be like that, when worn it does not gape open. In good condition for the age with some wear on the silver straps and some marks on the inside lining which can not be seen with the lace overlay. Equivalent to a XS/S.
