1980s Escada Couture Velvet Heart Beaded Dress
About the Item
1980s Escada Couture black velvet strapless short cocktail dress. It has a magenta satin strip folded over at the top and a colorful heart embroidered with beads on the right side hip which doubles as a pocket. Heavy satin for the bustier portion of the dress, in lieu of boning and interior snap button waist straps to help keep everything secure. It is marked as a size 40 European and is shown pinned to the mannequin in the photo. Some light signs of wear on the satin which are hidden at the chest fold when it is worn.
