This is an extraordinary 1970s Roberto Capucci Silk Ribbon Ombre Gown. The halter neck bodice is entirely composed of silk ribbons. Capucci worked often with ribbon and this is an iconic piece. The ribbons on the flowing skirt are interspersed with with a lime to yellow chiffon.
