1950s Rosalie Macrini strapless tiered lace evening gown

Rosalie Macrini designed for the Barbara Costume Co in New York beginning in the 1930s, going on to buy the company sometime in the 1950s...Specializing in cocktail & evening wear, this gorgeous dress with it's boned fitted bodice and tiered lace skirt is what Macrini was known for, chic, figure flattering gowns with a bit of romance...In palest pink lace with underpinnings of pale pink crepe, fully boned bodice with layers of lace to floor, dress is lined and closes at the back with a painted metal zipper and hook/eye & hidden snaps below the waist...trimmed with satin ribbon applique at the waist in pale gold...In excellent wearable condition, there are a couple of "pricks" to the ribbon at the back, nothing serious... All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear...Any condition issues will be noted...Our mannequin is a size 4... Measurements are: Bust 36" waist 26" hip 36" center back to hem 50"
