Charles James for Samuel Winston, gray mohair cocktail dress
About the Item
One single front pocket on the left side which appears to be suspending the drape from the back-side of the dress.
It appears that there was at one time a very small belt, as there are small thread stays on both sides of the waist where it would have been, however it is not present.
I am available to discuss this RARE James dress at your convenience. Please let me know if you are interested in it for a personal collection, museum or design research.
