1950's Peggy Hunt Sheer Lace-Illusion Black Hourglass Evening Dress Gown

An amazing and highly stylized 1950's evening gown by Peggy Hunt. The silhouette is classic pin-up "femme fatale"; the skirt is deliciously lean! The bodice is ultra seductive with its low-cut plunge, shelf-bust lace applique illusion. My favorite part is the stunning bow-tie accent which really catches the eye! The nipped-waist flatters the waistline and the back fishtail-train will turn any woman into a starlet. You do not easily find this level of workmanship on garments today. Measurements Bust:38-39 inches Waist:31 inches Hips:41 inches Total Length:55 inches (4-inch seam allowance) This vintage designer gown is in excellent condition with no rips, stains or holes. Perfectly working back metal-zipper. This item is over 50 years old and is truly stunning!
