One of a kind rare collectors piece!
The original dress worn on screen by actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw as "Rachel" in the movie "Free State Of Jones", also starring Matthew McConaughey.
This is an amazing piece of movie history and forever captured on celluloid. The dress itself is above all absolutely gorgeous and highly wearable. The shape and construction is beautiful.
I love how the bodice looks like the shape of a corset although there is no corset or boned structure included - it's super soft and very comfortable to wear. The skirt is super wide and long. Delicate lace collar and pufy sleeves. It closes with little press buttons and hooks. You can wear it also front to back if you want to.
When I saw it I also immediatly thought of the styling in Sofia Coppola's remake of The Beguiled.
This is a one of a kind andmade piece of art, high value cotton fabric and elaborate tailoring.
It comes with the original ticket that describes every itenm to be worn in the scen along with the dress as well as the name of the film, actress and scenes with the dress.
