Victor Costa Black Dress Strapless Structured Draped Satin 1980s
About the Item
Victor Costa strapless dress in black structured, draped satin from the 1980s. Has a very old hollywood glamourous feel to it. The draping creates an overlap on the skirt which will allow for a cheeky slit effect on the front when moving. There is some boning and reinforcement present on the bodice to make sure everything stays right where it should. The dress closes with a side zipper and two hook and eye closures
BRAND DESCRIPTION
Victor Costa is known for copying elements of the European designers of his time and translating their style to a American audience. He started out designing for Suzy Perette and launched his own namesake Victor Costa brand in 1974. His brand became a big succes, eventually landing him collaborations with Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.
