About the Item

This truly mesmerising 1950's couture dress, rendered in a sumptuous black satin and accented by a decorative central bow, is just the piece to add to your timeless capsule collection. The elegant curved V shaped neckline is framed by medium shoulder straps and a sleeveless cut. The fitted bodice is accented by tailored darts along the bust-line, and structural seams that run upwards from the dropped skirt seam. The cinched in waistline, sets off the lowered skirt seam, and large central black satin bow. The elegant line of the skirt is set off by box pleats that drape from either side of the central box, completing this dress in a truly iconic 1950's silhouette. The back of the dress is accented by a deep V backline, framed to either side by tailored seams. This dress is lined in silk organza and rayon, and is boned along the décolletage.
