Calugi E Giannelli Men's Vintage 1980s Rubbery Tribal Pattern Bomber Jacket Size: Marked 52 which is a men's Medium Large but this gives a looser fit on top like most bomber jackets. Has quite long sleeves. Please check measurements. Chest - 48” / 122cm (meant to have a looser fit) Waist - Stretches up to 36” / 91cm Length (Shoulder to Hem) - 21” / 53cm Shoulder to Shoulder - 22” / 56cm Sleeve Pit to Cuff - 20” / 51cm Sleeve Shoulder to Cuff - 24” / 61cm Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition - Two small faint marks to back of one sleeve. No other noticeable stains, tears or holes. A rare and unique vintage mens bomber jacket from the 80s by genius, luxury Italian designer duo, Calugi e Giannelli. In a darkest blue soft and silky feeling synthetic fabric with a black ribbed hem and collar and flocked rubbery details forming tribal imagery of men, handprints and the word 'Tattoo' with a subtle glittery / sparkle through them. A great example of how calugi and giannelli's designs are still as wearable and relevant today. - Fully lined - Made in Italy Materials: 100% Polyester "Since beginning in 1982, Calugi e Giannelli has invented and reinvented clothing — menswear in particular—as if it were conceptual art... As playful as the Milanese Franco Moschino and as avant-gardist at the Parisian Jean-Paul Gaultier, Calugi e Giannelli's erudite conceptualism is accompanied by an equally strong sense of sensuality." - Taken from the Encyclopedia of Fashion. Unfortunately Calugi e Giannielli were too ahead of their time and so their business shut down due to financial difficulties - especially due to their focus being on menswear who weren't ready for their edgy, fashion forward designs.
