Cotton Jacket Blazer French Blue Work Jacket Embellished Gold Braid J Dauphin Repurposed Vintage Distressed Original French Blue Work Jacket from the 60's, Embellished with Gold Braids and Vintage Silver Tone Collectible Military Buttons Made in Brass, Trim of Light Grey and Creme White 100% Silk, Gold Braids. Original Paint stains from the 60's Brand: J Dauphin Size: S/M Our Up-cycled Vintage Jackets are made from vintage, natural fibers, military clothing and french workwear from the period 1940-1970. The trims we use comes from the finest vintage or dead stock materials on the markets. We use Italian Silks, French Tweeds, and also Vintage Designer Fabrics such as Valentino or Chanel, to create entirely new up cycled pieces. We also use French Military Metal Braids and Brass Buttons made during the WW1 or WW2. Our jackets are generally made as a S/M and would fit as an oversize S ( US 4 or EU36 ) or a regular M ( US 6 or EU 38 ). We are happy to give you the precise measurements and even adjust or custom make a jacket after your preferences. Just send us a message! We see small holes and sometimes even stains can be a beautiful detail that gives character and charm to the garment itself, usually we repair them from the inside, reinforcing them with silk. Sometimes we even leave them as they are, as we consider them beautiful as they are. Mostly our garments, trims, fabrics, buttons are sourced from France, Italy and possibly England as they were the countries that historically contributed to inventing the most forward exquisite techniques for creating excellent fabrics and trims.
