About the Item

Sonia Rykiel black glazed linen, big pocket, button facings, belted cropped jacket. This is a special jacket with lots of style. The fabric has the look of leather, but upon close inspection you can see the beauty of the process of the fabric. The jacket is interestingly constructed, the front facings, neck to hem front, are attached with buttons at the inside, which creates visual dimension to the design. The hip fronts have giant open pockets that stand away from the body. The mid fore arm sleeves give a nod to uniforms of past centuries, from the elbow to the cuff the wide sleeve has a finish of a 4 button cuff with a flange edge. The jacket has small belt loops at each waist side we added a ribbon, as the belt is missing. When belted, the jacket has a peplum hem effect. Taped finished seams inside with partial self lining at the inside fronts. Marked size 42. In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
