A major piece of Paco Rabanne's work!
Paco Rabanne is a French Couture House founded in 1966 by Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo (born 1934 in San Sebastian). His mother worked in the workshop of Balenciaga in Spain.
In 1965, as he was studying architecture at the Fine Art National School in France, Paco Rabanne designed, in his student room, his first collection of 12 dresses made of unwearable contemponary materials.
In 1966, he starts adding little medals of metal hanging with metallic rings. All along his career, Paco Rabanne will be known for his anticonformist use of materials.
