A halter tie top and high-waisted, elasticated, short-shorts.

Looks so cool on! Fits over several sizes.

Johnson's career began in the cutting edge designer lab of New York Pop fashion impresario Paul Young, whose legendary boutique 'Paraphernalia',
was instrumental in bringing the 60's London Mod/Pop look to America. Johnson designed specially commissioned outfits for members of Andy Warhol's 'Factory' gang, married velvet underground member, John Cale, while Warhol "superstar" Edie Sedgwick became both a muse and a model for her clothes. She designed the costumes Edie Sedgwick wore in her last film, 'Ciao Manhattan'. She won a Coty award in 1972.

A piece of Manhattan Pop-Art fashion history!

Johnson designed under the label Alleycat in the 1970's and iconic pieces from this era of her career are rare and sought after.
