1960s METALLIC BROCADE MAXISKIRT
About the Item
This vintage 1960s A-line maxiskirt is crafted from the most stunning tapestry of brocade fabric, with metallic embroidery woven in. It was custom made in the 1960s, but its likely the fabric is much older. It comes with a matching tortoiseshell-effect belt. The waistband is defined, with gathering and darts at the waist giving way to a full A-line shape. Closes in the back with a zipper. The Vintage Dolce & Gabbana Metallic Knit Top and Vintage Amethyst Paste Pearl Halo Earrings pictured are also available.
Measurements: This is best suited for a Medium or possibly Large; it would be easy to take in at the waist or hem if desired.
Waist: 29.5" laid flat up to 30" pulled taut
Hips: Free, up to 49"
Length: 43.5" easy to hem
Belt is 36.25" long x just shy of 2" wide (the belt could also be adjusted easily, either made shorted by looping it back more, or there are about 3.5" to let out to make larger if needed)
