Donna Karan Charcoal Gray Teddy Bear Cashmere and Alpaca Pant Suit - M, 1990s
About the Item
Like David Byrne’s “Big Suit” from the 1980s, this oversized suit makes a powerful statement despite its crisp, minimalist silhouette. Fuzzy, warm and richly textured, the jacket dominates the ensemble with its broad shoulders and long lines, while the tapered pants balance the duo with their leaner cut and luxuriously soft 100% cashmere fabric.
Menswear-inspired suit consisting of heathered charcoal jacket and deep charcoal trousers. Jacket features notched lapel and wrists, broad padded shoulders and 2 invisible hook front closure; slash pockets each hip and single left breast slash pocket (sewn shut). Trousers feature tapered legs, double hip pleats and on-seam slash pockets both sides; zip front fly with metal tab, button and hidden interior button at waistband plus belt loops. Trousers fully lined in black viscose; jacket unlined.
