About the Item

Regal in color, this extraordinary suit is made even more spectacular by its masterful construction, feminine silhouette and triumphant matching Inverness coat. Traffic-stopping without the coat, the suit features a dramatic shoulder-width portrait collar and hourglass sculpting; with the coat it is nothing short of a Dior-class vision, replete with yards of superior quality wool tweed. Pencil suit and matching overcoat of royal purple and lavender wool tweed. ¾ sleeve suit features sculpted short jacket with massive notched portrait collar, notched sides and front and rear princess seams; double breasted construction with six oversized purple buttons, finished buttonholes and bottom placket snaps. Fully lined in purple silk crêpe. Pencil skirt with 1 ¼” plain waistband and double front and rear hip darts; 9 ½” rear vent. Metal side zipper closure with top button; fully lined in purple crêpe. Overcoat features Inverness collar and sleeves, and faux double breasted front closure with 6 1 ½” buttons; bracelet length sleeves.
