About the Item

This sensational pink leather 3 piece set is in lovely condition and is extremely adaptable - each piece translates effortlessly as separates and could be used independently to diversify other ensembles. The set is comprised of an exquisite bralet, A-line skirt and a loose fitting jacket with a belt tie with an attractive laser-punched textile design. The bralet is neatly styled with a sweetheart neckline, shoulder straps and a ruffle trim that decorates the centre front and waistline with a pretty peplum effect. It is front fastening with concealed hook eye and popper closures below the trim. The A-line skirt finishes at the mid calf with a modest slit below the left knee. Tailored panelling below the waistband flatters the hips and navel with a central zip fastening at the reverse. Both skirt and bralet are lined in sugar pink sateen fabric. The jacket is designed to be worn loosely over the top and is un-tailored around the bust, waist and hips. There is a central button stand that creates a V neckline when fastened, and a pink leather tie belt that can be drawn in at the waist. The batwing sleeves each have a trim featuring leather tie straps that can be fastened together to create a flared cuff if desired. There are curved hems on either side of the jacket that ride upward towards the centre of the hip. This unique set is unlabelled and we believe it to be French in origin. Although the jacket will accommodate a variety of sizes and the skirt could be worn by a US 4-6 (UK 8-10), we have sized the set at US 2 (UK 6) as the bralet is designed to suit a very petite figure.
