1910s Beaded Multi Colored Steel Bead Evening Bag W Beaded Fringe
About the Item
This 1910's antique handbag is such a beautiful example of a higher end finely beaded bag from that time period! This exquisite Edwardian evening bag is fully micro beaded with French cut steel beads in shades of gold, ivory, green and pink. The ornate gold frame is beautifully engraved and features a hinged opening with a pull clasp. The bag is fully lined in a soft shade of pink with the traditional decorative trim, and there is a chain strap handle. The beaded silver fringe at the bottom adds just the right amount of movement to the piece. The inside of the bag is a single compartment with a side pocket. The bag comes with its original pocket mirror and coin purse.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Close to Excellent condition, but the coin purse is missing its snap button and there is very slight, faint spot on lining. We found only a couple of missing beads - the bag is in remarkable condition for its age!
