Evans Tri Color Gilt Sterling Silver Compact and Cigarrette Case Set
About the Item
Hard to find EVANS extra large tri-color woven sterling silver compact & cigarette case set. The compact is 4 5/8" dia.The mirror has a "Sterling." sticker & the puff is signed Evans with original screen. Interior powder is pitted. Cigarette case, 5.5”L x 3.25”W x 0.5”D; marked: "Sterling Evans." The cigarette has 2 small dings inside & light scratches. Both pieces have slight wear and tarnish. The compact is on page 59 of "Compacts & Smoking Accessories" by Ettinger, circa 1930.
