Circa 1970-1980 USA or England Iconic Open This End Screen Print cotton dress by Andy Warhol (1928-1987) dating from the first reeditions of the 1970s. As in the original 1962 paper work, the blood-red paint smudges and defects are clearly visible.  The printed cotton bias on the neck and sleeves is also true to the original paper one. The background is a cheap unbleached cotton. Trace of a label cut on the collar, this could be a Mr Feedom (?) manufacture in England circa 1971. All seams are machine sewn. This is an amazing vintage find! Nothing is better than vintage Louis Vuitton because the brown leather ages beautifully and only gets better! This is a charming Louis Vuitton hard-sided case from the mid to late 20th century. This suitcase is in good vintage condition, and still has so much life to live! Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections. The exterior finished in the famous monogram canvas with brass fittings, a rolled leather handle, three original clasps stamped "Louis Vuitton Paris", and a burnt orange leather framing. On the interior there is a removable compartment making it a 2 compartment luggage case done in a beautiful cream canvas in great condition. Floaty summer dress from iconic British designer Ossie Clark, for his Radley line. This early to mid 1970’s piece features a pretty floral print in two layers of navy chiffon in a red, sky blue, green & white floral print by his wife and business partner Ceila Birtwell. Fitted around the bust, with a flattering empire line tie fastening and three covered buttons at the back in the same fabric. It would make a fantastic choice for a wedding or summer party and is in truly superb vintage condition with no issues. Best for a size extra small to small - our model is a size UK 6-8 or US 2-4 and this has room in the bust. Ossie Clark was a highly influential British fashion designer in the 1960s -1970s. In 1965 he graduated from the Royal College of Art with a first class degree and immediately began selling his work in exclusive London boutiques including Alice Pollock’s Quorum. Here he created a collection with textile designer Celia Birtwell which was one of the most famous collaborations in fashion history. Quorum was bought by Radley in the late 1960s which led to the ‘Ossie Clark for Radley’ label. This 1970s John Neville turquoise paisley dress is the perfect pack away dress and made from a high quality polyester yarn with a lined bodice. This is a phenomenal 1970s Ossie Clark boutique blouse with an important and well documented print by Celia Birtwell. It is fully labelled and additionally has the Quorum boutique retail label which sold Ossie's costly mainline collections - they are much rarer than Radley retailed pieces. There are some wonderful softer design details in this blouse from the puff sleeves to the long tapered cuffs and the gathered yoke giving it a loose romantic poet's style aesthetic as the blouse is without darts. The print is a very beautiful floral design against a navy background in quality rayon fabric. This is a remarkable piece of fashion history and has been in my personal collection for years but it is time for someone else to enjoy it. The condition is very good overall. There is slight fade on the sleeve elements of the arm - this is more noticeable on the right side than the left - the photos are a good representation and this never bothered me as it is so slight. Additionally there are two very small, minor grazes on the back towards the top of the neck; not quite holes but the fabric has thinned. They are not noticeable when worn. The last very minor issue is there is a small stress parting along the seam on the left forearm sleeve. This is on the underside and therefore cannot be seen when worn. This has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear and I can be seen modelling this top for a vintage photo...

This is a beautiful example of Madame Gres's work during a pivotal moment in the fashion House's history when she expanded her design repertoire for couture evening dresses and the fluid Greco - Roman Goddess draping she was so famous for. It is certainly a graceful and early 1970s design and is made from the most beautiful silk embroidered tulle that overlays a fine black silk shift dress. The dress has an empire line bodice and a low scoop cut neckline, ruffle edged in a double layer of the tulle. The long sleeves are sheer with a ruffle cuff collar that echoes the neckline. The dress is Princess seemed and fastens to the rear with the original metal zip whilst the tulle overlay has popper closures. The haute couture label is located on the right hand side of the dress just under the arm. The dress is entirely handmade and in absolutely beautiful vintage condition. There are no issues of any note and it looks barely worn. We estimate this dress would suit around a UK 8-10, US 4-6. Haute couture dresses of this calibre are rare to market, especially in wearable condition and we doubt we will ever see another. Madame Grès - was the name of the French haute couture fashion house established in the 1940s and lasting through until the 1980s. Madame was Germaine Émilie Krebs who in her early years also created designs under the Alix label. She was renowned for her attention to detail and minimalistic draping techniques fashioning fluid silk jersey straight onto the wearer. Her pieces can fetch well over five figure sums and are held in every major museum collection worldwide. She was one of the most revered couturiers of the 20th century and died short...
