About the Item
Rare Chest, wedding trousseau chest, oriental (Indian) from 1800s, of important measure, with opening on top base and large locks.
The wood is carved and with breathable openings on each side, and the 4 turnings located at the top corners are equally worked.
Description: Fabulous chest, antique Indian dowry chest, made of wood and iron with large dimensions cm in length, cm in depth, cm in height. Very capacious and easy to move thanks to the four wheels. Safe-like closure and iron side handles.
Probably used in the transport of valuables.
Handcrafted this chest is a unique piece of fine and antique workmanship
