Antique Aesthetic Movement Anglo Japanese Dinner Gong 19th Century

This is a superb decorative Japanese Imari table lamp on stand, circa 1840 in date. The lamp has a bulbous shape and features Japanese decoration in the traditional Imari colour scheme of blue orange and red, profusely decorated with birds and flowers. The rim has a cast ormolu bamboo-moulded mount and the lamp is raised on an ormolu base with four-leaf and scroll-form legs. This is a superb quality antique French malachite, bronze and ormolu mantel clock dating from Circa 1850 in date. It features Louis XVI seated on an ormolu throne chair whilst reading a book. The clockmakers name is inscribed on the backplate. It is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. This is an elegant antique aesthetic period burr maple and ebonized writing table, stamped 'Edwards & Roberts' circa 1870 in date. This elegant desk is crafted from the most beautiful maple with ebony banded decoration and ormolu beaded stringing. The rectangular top is inset with a gold tooled dark green leather writing surface above two frieze drawers. It is raised on elegant twin turned and fluted column supports joined by a decorative stretcher and raised on outswept legs. It is finished on all sides so that it can stand freely in the centre of your room. Complete with workig locks and key.
