Antique Nepalese Tara, Probably 17/18th C, 8010
About the Item
Large antique Nepalese Tara or other female goddess. Probably 17/18thC or earlier. Beautiful face, graceful stance, fabulous patina-overall a great example of its type. The only issue was that it did not stand on its own. so I had a perfectly proportioned stand made for it by a professional base maker. Stands 21.25 inches tall, 23 5/8 inches on custom-stand. Beauty! Extremely hard to find like this.
