Pair of Victorian Pierced and Etched Brass Radiator Covers/Doors

About the Item

Pair of Victorian Radiator Covers or Doors ready for repurposing. Hand cut and chased with torch designs on each panel from the late 19th Century in heavy gauge brass. Heavy decoration on front panel edge. one side 24H x 13 wide, the other side 24h x 12.5" wide. Total approx 25" x 24" high. Knob is missing and metal needs reshaping to be totally plumb. Nothing else is missing. 1870's USA.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Central knob missing. Panels slightly mangled, need reshaping but intact. Top edge border of one door has separated from the pierced panel about 3 inches, needs to be reattached. Original hinge fittings intact, Needs polishing.
