Powder Blue Drum Shaped Water Pot with Twin Beast Grips , Qing period

About the Item

Made in Jingdezhen during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor in the Qing Dynasty, the highest grade of pottery made under strict control. With a signature on the bottom dated to the year of the Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty The piece is glazed with a very pure and beautiful celadon glaze. The shape is that of a drum, and the ears are based on the head of a small beast with a ring around its mouth. Dots at regular intervals and straight lines, excellent in precision.
