A fantastic large C19th Athénienne, the pierced gilt bronze rim with removable liner above burnished bronze sphinxes and tapering monopodiums with enchased gilt bronze collars, supported on a triform marble plinth. Excellent quality and patina. Useful as planter, wine cooler, or with the addition of a marble top as a table. Circa 1880
