Glamour and grace. The grace gold edition serving trolley is an absolute interior highlight, designed by German star-designer Sebastian Herkner and produced by the German luxury interior brand Schönbuch until the end of 2022 in a limited edition of just 50 units. Its minimalist forms are the perfect example of a modern take on the classic serving trolley. Clean lines bring the glamour of the color to the fore. The frame and wheels are hand-gilded, layer by layer, with a copper-zinc alloy, and sealed with clear varnish. The shelves are finished in a stylish bronze look. GRACE GOLD EDITION takes about seven weeks to manufacture. Its 1950s architecture-inspired design is sheer elegance, making for a refined item of furniture that can be used as a mobile bar or side table, adding a touch of glamour to any room. A strong design statement, handmade in Bavaria. The grace gold edition is not available any more through the regular Schönbuch retailers as it is officially sold out. This piece is No. 4 of 50. The serial number is embossed into the trolley, and it comes with an official certification personally singed by Sebastian Herkner. About Sebastian Herkner An innovative combination of traditional craftsmanship and new technologies – this is the basis on which Sebastian Herkner develops his work. While studying at the HfG (University of Art and Design) in Offenbach, he spent a placement period with Stella McCartney in London. In 2006 he opened his own studio in Offenbach, and since then has numbered international furniture and lifestyle brands among his clients. Sebastian Herkner’s work has gained various leading design awards. It includes interior outfitting projects and a position as lecturer at the HfG.
