Chinese Rosewood Meditation Chair Low Chair

About the Item

One beautiful solid rosewood meditation chair of the highest quality. Solid construction with tenons and mortises. Back splat finely carved with longevity motifs centered around the medallion of long life. Arms solid and comfortably contoured, with double scrollwork forming a Ruyi symbol. Extra deep and wide seat crafted with single board solid rosewood, set within the ingenious "floating panel" construction that ensures long term stability. Continuing on is a finely crafted waist, adding definition and elegance to the chair, which is then supported by four solid hoof-feet legs. This is an authentic Chinese meditation chair with solid construction that allows one to sit comfortably within the seat with legs folded to achieve calmness and peace. Use of prized rosewood and Hua Li wood. In excellent condition. Please note the listing is for 1 chair, featured photo shows the same chair with, without cushion and its front view.
